Disclosures

What the figures on this site are, what they are not, and what every metric means.
Important information.
- Figures on this site are historical research / backtest results. They are not independently verified live-account performance.
- Historical research and backtest results do not guarantee future performance and can differ materially from live execution.
- Each promoted market is a separate frozen research system. No claim is made that one algorithm transfers automatically across markets.
- Nothing on this website is a promise of return or personalized investment advice.
- Full technical evidence is available only to qualified counterparties, under NDA where appropriate.
- Source code, exact rules and proprietary mechanics are never published on this website.
Hypothetical results and risk.
- Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
- Results are shown in R, multiples of the risk taken per trade, not in money or in percent of an account.
- Trading in leveraged products, futures, contracts for difference and crypto assets carries a high risk of loss, which can exceed the capital invested. Only capital that can be lost without affecting one's financial situation should be used.

Glossary.
Plain definitions of the metrics and terms used across the site.
- R (risk unit)
- One unit of the initial risk taken on a trade. +1R is a gain equal to the amount risked; −1R is the full loss of it.
- Trades
- Closed trades in the frozen research sample, breakevens included.
- W / L / BE
- Wins, losses and breakevens. A breakeven (BE) is a trade closed at roughly 0R: neither a win nor a loss.
- PF (profit factor)
- Gross R won divided by gross R lost over the same sample. Above 1, the sample made more than it lost.
- Closed DD
- Largest peak-to-trough decline of the closed-trade equity curve, in R. It ignores swings while a position is still open; open-equity drawdown is a separate measure.
- WR (win rate)
- Wins divided by wins plus losses. Breakeven trades are excluded.
- WR 2024–2026
- The same win rate, restricted to trades from 2024 to 2026. The record is wins / losses in that window.
- Frozen
- The current development master has been fixed and same-sample optimization has been closed.
- HL (Higher Low)
- A swing low that holds above the previous swing low: a sign of rising structure.
- LH (Lower High)
- A swing high that fails below the previous swing high: a sign of falling structure.
- BOS (Break of Structure)
- Price moving through a prior structural level, a sign that the previous structure no longer holds.
- Realized volatility (14D)
- Annualized standard deviation of daily log returns over the last 14 sessions, computed from public daily closes.
- Historical research / backtest
- Results produced by running a frozen system on past market data. Not live-account performance, not independently verified, and no guarantee of future results.
